FORGIVENESS

As i sat down in my office watching a movie titled ''The Last Option'', I felt within me that the message being passed across in that movie was for me.

Though my past has been full of hurt, i feel pain, anger and revenge within me whenever i remember what have been through. When i remember how friends and loved ones have treated me in the past I really want to pay back but with CHRIST IN ME now, I know i have to let go of those things and FORGIVE.


There is no way i will share things with you here if you have not let go of those things that hurt you. Because the fact remains that whenever you remember this things it changes everything about you and at that moment you want to pay back.

FORGIVENESS is the renunciation or cessation of resentment, indignation or anger as a result of a perceived offense, disagreement or mistake ceasing to demand punishment or restitution.
Forgiveness doesn't come in an easy way, especially when people offend us or when we sometimes find ourselves making mistakes in life.

UNFORGIVING  increases the anger in us , it increases the pain and make us feel bitter about ourselves or people or situations that hurts us
Matt 6:14-15
    For if ye forgive men their trespass, your heavenly father will also forgive you, but if ye forgive not men their trespass neither will your father forgive your trespasses.

I understand how painful it is to Let go at times when we get hurt by people. i have found myself vowing to take revenge and pay back all those who hurt me but remembering that if i don't forgive God won't forgive me too. I just have to LET GO...
Sometimes, letting go might be difficult because the memories can keep coming and it keeps on reminding you of those pains. Run to God in times like this because He alone can help you release those people in your heart.

Forgiving yourself is another important part of Forgiveness, you might have lived a very rough life, walked on bad roads, forgotten about God, you must have been a lover a lover of the world but remember the Bible says
Isaiah 1:18
      Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, Though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool'
Daniel 9:9
      The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving even though we have rebelled against Him.
Colossians 1:13-14
       For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin.

All you have to do is come back to Him. Remember the prodigal son, after he left his father's house, lavished all his possessions and inheritance, he realized at the end of it all that he has to return home to his father. when he returned home, his father welcomed him,embraced him and organized a feast for him.
Acts 3:19
    Repent, then and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord
1John 1:9
    If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Turning to God helps to quench all the bitterness  you have towards yourself. If you turn to God for forgiveness , it makes it easier for you to forgive.
Let go of the pains, let go of the anger, let go of all the bitterness. open your heart, fill it with the word of God. Fill it with joy and forgiveness. forget all for the Bible says in Hebrew 10:17 ; ''Their sins and lawless acts will i remember no more'' 
When you do this, the Lord will pour out his blood of covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins (Matt 26:28)

Forgiveness brings peace of mind
it brings healing
it brings favour and open doors
it pours out the blessing of God upon your life
it pours out God's mercy
Forgiveness brings about Divine Intervention and lifting

When you forgive, your heart is free from all kinds of pain, bitterness,hurt or anger. you are able to concentrate more on God. you are relieved of all your troubles. this allows the manifestation of God's word in your life.

PRAYER
FATHER GIVE ME THE GRACE TO LET GO
I LET GO OF ALL THE PAIN
I RELEASE EVERYONE WHOM I HAVE HELD HOSTAGE IN MY LIFE
ALMIGHTY GOD, I SURRENDER MY LIFE TO YOU
FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS AND WASH ME CLEAN
IN JESUS NAME

 



Remember, A heart of love comes after forgiveness, pray to God to give you the heart to love all those whom you have forgiven.  

OUR LIFE!!!

Biola sat down on the chair beside her bed, she was lost in thought.....she felt she had lost everything, she felt her life was meaningless. she was sobbing quietly and speaking to herself saying 'why is my life like this, why do i feel used, why am i always the one facing this problems'..... Those were part of the numerous questions she asked herself.......HMMMM

I have come to realize that a lot of young ladies go through a lot and they are faced with the fear of sharing these things with people, some ladies who might love to share these things don't even know who to share it with...They are scared of being ridiculed by their friends and  people around them.

Many years ago, i was in that situation, i didn't know who to talk to because i wasn't sure they will have answers to my numerous questions... i continued in my sinful ways thinking that with time everything will pass away but the situations grew out of hand.

I want to use this medium to share a lot with my fellow ladies, to encourage and inspire them. To share with them how i got out of my numerous bad habits... i sincerely hope that this will help change someone's life...
